Being a thriller led by Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper, and Terrence Howard, it’s no surprise Dead Man Down has found a buyer right after shooting commenced. Deadline reports that, in this case, said buyer would happen to be FilmDistrict, who are planning to release Neils Arden Oplev‘s currently-shooting thriller sometime next fall.
J.H. Wyman has scripted Dead Man Down, which follows Victor (Farrell), a former criminal aide who seeks vengeance on Alphonse Hoyt (Terrence Howard) a criminal overlord who helped orchestrate the death of his family. Rapace — re-teaming with her director on Sweden’s Girl with the Dragon Tattoo — enters the swing of things as Beatrice, a woman blackmailing Victor for his services; Cooper will play Victor’s partner, Darcy.
