Ram Power Wagon vs Ford Raptor Suspension

We live in a golden era of instant gratification, where every appliance is another appliance, and single-purpose products are benign and unsellable to the masses. Need proof? Your cell phone is a calculator, social media broadcast station, and gaming console, and there’s a chance—however ridiculous—that it gets texts from your refrigerator alerting you when to buy milk. So, too, do we demand this multitool functionality from our trucks. All but gone are the days of single-cab, long-bed haulers. Today’s off-road trucks are expected to do everything, be everything, and are constantly weighed and measured against the yardstick of Ford’s paradigm-shifting SVT Raptor.

Enter our 2019 Ram Power Wagon: a 7,000-pound, plush interior’d workhorse with Rubicon-grade 4×4 hardware, a farm-handy Warn winch, and the capacity to carry 1,510 pounds of whatever in the bed. It tows heavily, out-articulates any new truck on the market, and tucks 37-inch tires with nary a

Truck with the Best MPG

Talking about the “best” of anything can lead to quite the slippery slope. Thankfully, fuel economy is a rather straightforward subject thanks largely to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA issues a fuel economy rating for all light-duty vehicles and publishes them in the form of city, highway, and combined mileage. Everyone of driving age should be familiar.

For the sake of our comparison, we’re looking at the EPA combined fuel economy rating because most people don’t spend the entirety of their driving time purely in either city or highway scenarios. These figures are provided by the EPA, so they also don’t take into account cab configuration, trim level, available options, or axle ratios. Although we’ve worked hard to provide the most

Qruisin PCH Quarantine Cruise 2021 Dates: Mark Your Calendar

It started as a small, somewhat underground gathering of rebellious truck and car enthusiasts during the height of the pandemic’s stay-at-home orders in 2020. The Quarantine Cruise, organized and clandestinely communicated through the Instagram page Qruisinpch, has captivated the SoCal custom car and truck scene. It’s secretive, with cruise-route beginning and ending locations revealed via last-minute texts. It’s rebellious because anything secretive has a twinge of rebellion. Yet, it’s diverse, with literally every form of custom vehicle represented. And it’s enormous, with thousands of custom vehicles driving the full cruise route or showing up at the end of the route to remind enthusiasts that we all have a lot in common.
