More than 40 migrants die in truck in San Antonio, others hospitalized

Authorities uncovered 46 migrants lifeless inside of a tractor-trailer on
Monday in San Antonio, Texas, the city’s fireplace department stated, in
what appears to be one of the most fatal latest incidents of human

The San Antonio Hearth Section reported 16 other individuals located
inside of the trailer have been transported to the healthcare facility for warmth stroke
and exhaustion, like four minors. Officials also stated three
persons were in custody subsequent the incident.

the city’s southern outskirts.

Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard termed the suffocation
of the migrants in the truck the “tragedy in Texas” on Twitter and
claimed the regional consulate was en route to the scene, while the
nationalities of the victims had not been verified.

There have been a document quantity of migrant crossings at the
U.S.-Mexico border in new months, which has sparked criticisms
