A Pro Cyclist Tried to Ride a Budget Bike as Fast as Possible

In suitable racing problems, with the most effective probable products, competitive cyclists can arrive at impressive speeds—but what about on a budget bicycle that weighs almost 40 kilos? In a new YouTube obstacle movie, Hank and Connor from the Global Biking Community examination the leading land speed for a $300 Eurobike on a closed circuit in Wales.

On his 1st attempt, Hank reaches 28 miles per hour. “It does weigh an absolute ton,” he states. “But I consider we can elevate the bar a tiny bit.”

For the 2nd attempt, Hank hits the limits of the bike’s gears, but is thrilled to listen to that he produced it more than the 30 barrier, with a max pace of 31 miles for each hour. “I might love to get to 35 miles per hour,” he claims.

Connor notes, however, that Hank expends a ton of time and energy just cycling all-around the track even though receiving up to that velocity, and so for the 3rd and last endeavor, they occur up with a very creative answer (which really should not be tried at property): Hank hangs onto the bumper of a motor vehicle though Connor drives, and then allows go and pedals like hell, achieving a max velocity of 41 miles for every hour.

“That was around loss of life,” says Hank, remarking that a Eurobike can really feel “flimsy” when riding at superior speeds, and that he did not have the utmost self esteem in its gears or brakes. “Yet, I nonetheless felt steady adequate, I just would not want to go quicker than 41 miles for each hour.”
