Thanks to our local partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, we can share with you today new car sales figures for Cyprus, a market down -6.6% year-on-year to 1,023 units. Thanks to a very strong start of the year, the H1 tally remains in positive at +5.9% to 6,133 sales. This month the Kia Stonic (+13.1%) claims the title of best-seller but only ranks #9 year-to-date. Leader last month, the Toyota Yaris (+5.6%) drops to #2 in June but advances to the YTD pole position thanks to a very weak month by the VW T-Roc (-70%). The Toyota C-HR (+45.7%) and Kia Rio (+52%) both sport fantastic gains just below while the Toyota RAV4 (-2.8%) is up 16 spots on May to #5 but down year-on-year. Excellent scores by the Toyota Corolla (+328.6%), Hyundai Kona (+107.1%) and Audi Q3 (+52.9%) in the remainder of the Top 10. The Nissan Micra (#23) and Ford Puma (#25) break into the YTD Top 30.
